Birthday for a Bugga

Happy Birthday to Lilly on Monday. We celebrated for two days.
Sunday Party Day!
Sunday was the family party, presents and cake for the special girl.
Gracie and Emily wanted to make Lilly's birthday sign so we did a little craft with foam paper. Who ever invented that stuff should get a metal. Its wonderful and my kids love playing with them.
Here is their finished product. They stuck it to the fireplace.
Lilly requested a Mermaid party with a mermaid cake. So, I happened to find a mermaid bubble machine at the DI for .50 cents. Perfect. So here is the finished product. I had some extra fondant so Gracie and I made an under the sea party on her cake. It was really fun. I know it looks busy but it was fun.
Here is Lilly watching the bubbles blow over her cake. She LOVED it and that is all that counts right? Here is sweet Olivia coming to support Lilly's party.
I asked Lilly what she wanted for her birthday and she said, "Mermaids and Books." So Grandma Olsen got her 3 Ariel Books and Lilly was so happy. They are her favorite gifts. She carries her books around with her everywhere even to Preschool for show and tell. She also got some bubble bath (mermaid) from Grace and 2 board books from Emily and some clothes from Grandma Ray. Mommy and Daddy got some play makeup for her like Gracie and boy she was happy about that too. She is so sweet I can't even stand it.
Monday Birth Day!!
Lilly was so excited to turn four. She got out the Birthday Girl sash and wore it all day. To start her day, she had a party at preschool and got a paint set from her teachers. Then we took her to McDonald's to play at the play land and have lunch. Its one of her favorite places to go. Then it was home to play with her cousin. Later that night, Daddy got off work early and took us all out to where else? The Mayan. Here they are waiting for a table. They were pretty hyper (must be the leftover Halloween candy)The Birthday girl asking to see the divers. I told her that they will be diving in a min. And they were. But I thought this pic was so cute.Gracie was having a hard day. She was hungry and the food took "SOOOO LONG I AM GOING TO STARVE TO DEATH." Well she didn't starve.Emily enjoyed her Bowtie mac and cheese pasta and the divers. The girls always have fun at the Mayan. I would have been fine at Bajio Grill personally. But its Lilly's night and she had fun. I can't believe how wonderful it is to have such a special little girl. She has a tender heart, always silly and full of so much love. I am blessed to have Lilly (and all my girls) in our lives. Happy Birthday Lillybugga. I love you!
Family PhotoHere is our newest photo of the family. Its our Utah photo. Go Utes. Might be our Christmas card this year who knows. It's hard to get every one to smile and stand right. Man oh man. But I think this turned out alright.I love this one too.
I wish Emily and Lilly were looking at the camera..
