They Say its your Birthday...Happy Birthday to you!

FRIDAY PARTY!!

Emily had her two year old birthday party this weekend. It was a lot of fun. We had our extended family party on Friday. We were going to go to the park for the festivities but it was a little cold and threatening rain. So we had it at our house.Emily shared her birthday with her cousin Abby that turned 3 earlier in the week. They both like Sesame street so we had a Elmo/Abby Cadabby Party. Here is their cake. It was such an awesome cake.We had chicken for dinner and cake and Ice cream for dessert. Here is Emily enjoying her Pasta salad.Birthday girls blowing out their candles. The cake frosting was a little thick..and man it got everywhere. But is was a small price to pay for such a cute cake.Emily loving her Elmo Cupcake. (I wasn't fibbing about the frosting was I?)Bayley after she ate her cupcake.Lilly and her cupcake mess. YumMaggie, Parker and Becca sharing their frosting for the camera.Emily enjoyed all her gifts. She got a sand pile wagon full of sand pile toys from her Aunt RuthAnn and Uncle Ross. (she loves them, thank you!)Daddy bought her a tickle me Elmo Extreme. Totally funny to watch.Gracie got her a Elmo Video and I bought her a new outfit. Grandma and Grandpa Olsen bought her clothes along with Grandma and Grandpa Stout and Uncle Steve and kids bought her water toys. She loves them all. This is Steve throwing Dylan in the air. I should photo shop it and make it look like he is flying. hahah. My oldest brother Ross. What a goof. It was so nice to have every (minus Jeff and Jenny You were missed) come. I love that we all get a long and love each others company. Emily loving her Aunt Kristi. After everyone left, it was tubby time. I think the girls had to soak a good 30 mins to get the frosting stain off.

Saturday Dinner!

Its a tradition to take the kids out to dinner for their birthdays. They always seem to want to go to the Mayan. So that is where we went for Kunka.I am glad that we have been there a few times because after telling them we had little kids and a birthday party they still sat us way in the corner where we couldn't even see the divers. GRRR. Oh well.
WE all had a good time none the less. (Man I need to go back to weight watchers.)

Emily got a yummy sundae for dessert and the 4 of us sang to her. When we got home, we had another cupcake for her and she got to blow out her candles. (again)
She loved her cake and was excited that she had turned 2.

She had a big event turning 2... Emily has a big girl Bed. Yippy. She is sharing with Lilly. Here is Lilly's Bed.And Gracie has her own bed by herself. Happy day.
(oh Barn!)
Our first night of sleeping in different rooms where a little challenging. But I hope worth it. We are making room for Grandma LaRae to come for a visit. And it was time to take the crib down. It was a big step for the Mommy too. My baby is growing up.

WOW... that's been a fast 2 years. Great pictures. It looks like a very fun party. Your baby is growing up and it makes me sad cuz my baby is right behind your baby. Glad you had such a fun time.
