What is new

I never thought I would say this but, being a stay at home mom is hard work. I seem to be even more busy than I was working full time and being a mom. Oh, don't get me wrong, I love being home with my kids..but, man, there is a lot to be done through out the day. Just to keep Gracie busy is a full time job in itself.

Updates on the girls:

Gracie is still trugging away at the potty thing. Some days are better than others. Like today, she refuses to wear big girl panties. I even tried to put them on her this morning and she screamed and kicked. So I gave in (more like gave up) and she is in diapers. I asked her if she wanted to go potty in the potty and she looked at me and said, "Mom, its my day off" Okay, I had to agree with her. I guess everyone needs a day off once in a while. Gracie is so smart with her computer. She is a wiz at her preschool game. She is at the highest level and knows everything about it. What a star. She plays her Dora game as well. Its nice to see her so smart. She is starting to recognize letters and numbers. She loves to be read to and she loves to read to her own "babies". Its so great to see her growing. I have missed out on a lot of her life while I was at work.

Lilly bug FINALLY cut her first tooth. She has been teething for what seems like her whole short 7 months of life. She has been miserable the last few weeks. The other day I was checking out her gums for any signs of white and there it was. On the front left side of her little mouth was a white little pointy tooth. Phew. Now that this one is growing in I think she has a tooth on the other side coming in. She has been pretty needy the last few days. She has also learned to roll over but doesn't really like her tummy very much. She loves to sit up and play. I think she will crawl from a sitting positions more than from her tummy. She is also getting hair in. YIPPY. And yes it is Red. Lets hope it stays. Gracie was born a red head but went blonde. Maybe there is hope with Lillybug. She is trying to help me type right now. nkdasfjhjbndfkjahk She seems to always be on my lap getting in to everything. What a smart thing. She can say mama, dada, baba, nana (that just started today) and make a kissing sound. We are trying to teach her to give kisses so when she sees our friends and family she will be able to give them kisses. She is just a joy. I think she will be the sensitive one. When she gets hurt she cries and cries until her daddy can give her loves and kisses. Then she whimpers for about 15 mins. She milks it for what its worth.

I hope everyone is doing well. Please feel free to leave a post or email us when you can.
