Well, its official, we have a new house. Actually we have two. The one we just bought and the one that just went under contract. HAPPY DAY! I think we can start moving in as early as sunday/Monday. Blake and I are really excited about it. Gracie, not so much. She is upset that we packed up all her toys. But, She'll like her new house soon enough. Since we made a little money on the sell of our old house we get to get a few new things. (couch, dinning set, tv, mattress) I am excited about shopping. Here are a few pictures of our new place.

First Day of preschool

Here is our little preschooler. She is quite excited about her first day. She has her new clothes on (all for fall mind you.) She doesn't care if its going to be 87 today she is wearing her new school close to school. Right before we were leaving I had to run inside for one last thing, when I returned to the car Lilly and Gracie were both gone....WHAT!???? Gone? Yes, Gone. I looked down the street and there was Gracie, "Walking to School" with little sister Lilly tagging behind. I called to Gracie to get back here and she yelled over her shoulder, "I am going to school I am going to be late, MOM!!!" I finally coaxed her back to the van and I asked her why she was walking, she said that ALL kids are suppose to walk to school. I told her not to preschool they don't. This preschool is part of her daycare so she's not really going anywhere just has 2 hours of learning during the day. But she doesn't care. Today its the "Get to know you" part of school. We had to write a little thing about Gracie. What she likes and what not. I asked her what her favorite food was and she said, "pickles" I thought that was strange but okay we put it on the sheet. I asked her if we should put on her real first name and she says, "oh Mommy, can we? I love my first name." So, we put Marjorie as her name. (after her Grandma my mom) I hope she stays this excited for school as she gets older. I don't know what Lilly is going to do next year when she can't go with Gracie to kindergarten. She'll be so sad. Good Luck today Gracie!!

The Artist known as Princess

Gracie did some
wonderful Artwork this weekend. I have them at my desk. The first picture is called, "the girls" with 4 hearts. She wanted me to lable them. it looks as though Gracie is the Center of that picture. The next is the Family picture...Emily, Lilly, Gracie, Daddy, Mommy, Barney the Dog and Cat. She was pretty proud of these pictures. I think she did a great job. We don't have any legs except for Barney. Funny huh???

The week in review

Well, for all of those wondering if we sold our house...my answer is NO!! We had a few people over the weekend come and look at it. But they didn't want to live behind the Highway. You get used to it, we did. And, its better than living behind some drug house or something worse. we just keep praying that the right people will come and buy the house (fast) We close on our new home the 22nd. We really would like to have our house at least under contract. Ugggg!!
This week started the Utah Football Season. We were very excited for their first game. The Utes played UCLA @ UCLA. They played okay in the first half but by the 4th quarter it was a pretty terrible game. UCLA is probably the hardest team they will play this year. So lets hope that is the only game they loose. The girls were all decked out in their cheerleader outfits. So very cute.

Nothing else is really new. The girls are growing so fast. Emily totally giggles now. I love it. And she is starting to give up those tickle spots. She smiles and talks to you any chance she gets. The girls just love her. Lilly gets right in her face. And Gracie love to hold her and snuggle with her in the morning. There is a picture of my girls this morning. Wow, Lillians Hair is a little crazy (its normal). They are so sweet. They have a little bit of a time getting up in the mornings but, over all its not too bad.

Gracie starts PreSchool tomorrow. She is really excited about it. We went School shopping for her last week. She wants to wear her new jeans and long sleeved shirts now. its still a little too hot for that but she doesn't care. Maybe I can get her to sleep early tonight...I doubt it.
