The day ended with Gracie and Lilly taking a nice needed tubby. The water was black. But it was a good day for a 3 year old. 

Guess what Gracie got for her early Birthday Present? (Her Birthday isn't until Saturday.) 

This is Jasmine. She is a 2 year old Domestic Short Hair. She is very patient and very loving. She even likes Barney the dog. She is white with some patches of tan and black. What a pretty Kitty. 

Gracie couldn't be any happier with her Cat. She has been begging us for one for months now.

what a long day for the two of them. 

We went to Raging waters the other day for a company party. I took my sister in law and my niece with us. We had so much fun. Here is the sun bather Lilly. She loved the water even though it was a little chilly.

"there's no place like home"

Well,
Girls camp is over. Our theme this year was No Place Like Home. We did the whole Wizard of Oz thing and it turned out great. We are also being released in a week which is really sad. I have loved my calling in Young women's it has been a blast. I love all the girls and their wonderful spirit. I have to say though, this camp was hard because it was the first time I was away from both my girls for more than one night. I missed them and Blake every day. So when it was finally time to go home I was so excited. When I got home Gracie gave me a big hug and said, "Mommy, NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!!" I think she was serious.
I start my new job on Monday. I am a little nervous and a bit sad to not be a stay at home mommy. But, we feel this is a good opportunity to save a little money and maybe go to school so that I might be able to stay home with the Girls after I have our third child. Oh don't worry I am NOT pregnant right now. But we do plan to have another one. (Blake hopes its a boy) We will just have to see.
Update on what the girls are up to...
Lilly cut her second tooth. She is so cute with two little white nubs. She smiles all the time and loves to move around on her Fanny. Not crawling yet. We hope soon. She goes in for her 9 month check up in a few weeks. We are going to try to get lilly and Gracies appointments together.
I can't believe Grace will be three in a few weeks. she is getting so big and she is so busy. They went and spent the day at the babysitters on Thursday and had a blast. I think she missed playing with Ty and her girls. I appreciate Ty and all she does for my sweet girls. She is the best babysitter ever. Gracie is still trying to get the potty thing down. She is slow but getting better every day. I love it. I hope she can be totally trained by her 3rd birthday. Let us pray.

I am so happy to be home. My hubby is taking me out to dinner with the girls. Happy day. I have to say, this has been a nice home coming. I have had a billion kisses from my girls, with hugs on the side. My hubby is so happy to have a little time by himself with out the girls...And he has given me his share of hugs and kisses as well. I missed my family and so I can truly say, "There is no place like home."

Reflections

Its quiet in the house tonight. I just returned home from a wonderful relief society lesson. Blake has taken the girls for a daddy daughter night out to visit Molly the dog and so I find myself alone, for the first time in a long time. The silence is welcoming and I reflect on my life this far. Words can not express the love I have for my children and more so my sweet husband. How I love him. How grateful I am to have him in my life. I think of him every moment of the day. He is my best friend and everyday I can't wait to hug him and tell him I love him. I love my girls. Gracie is my savior. With out her I wouldn't be on the path I am now. I am blessed to have a little grace in my life. The Lord sent her to me at a time I needed her. I love how she thinks, I love who she is and I love knowing that I am her best friend, her hero and the Mommy. Lilly, sweet lillybug I am grateful to have and hold. She loves me and comforts me when I am happy or sad. She is so tender and knows when I need her sweet smile, her slobbery kiss and her genuine affection. I love her and I know she loves me. I am happy to be me. To know that I am a daughter of God. And to stand for what is right and true. I hear the girls..If they see me crying they will want to cry too. I just thought I would share.

Our day at the park. Its a really nice park where the kids can run and play in the water. There is also a place where the water "dances out of the ground" (that is what Gracie calls it) She had a blast running and playing in it. We took pictures of them in the wadding pool as well. What a fun day for the family.

This is the wadding area. She had so much fun. Its about 4 inches deep in the deepest part. On a hot day (102) this is perfect for kids to cool off in.
